A SUCESS STORY
Told by one of our grateful families

From the Division Head

On behalf of the Division of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery, I welcome you to our new website.

We have changed our name to reflect the integration of oral and maxillofacial surgery with plastic surgery. Moreover, the makeover of our website reflects the changes we have made to our Division. You will find our new web pages easier to navigate and the information you seek will be at your fingertips.  Likewise, at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, we are committed to providing the highest level of care with service that should make your visits both comforting and informative.

Since 1983, our Division has provided hope to children and their families through our advanced treatment options and compassionate, comprehensive care.

Today, we are one of the nation’s largest, most respected craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery centers with more than 6,500 patient visits and 1,500 surgeries annually and we attract patients from across the United States and internationally.

We have chosen to work with children because we are drawn to their special needs. In our world, “cosmetic surgery” has a special meaning. Having a facial deformity can be emotionally and socially devastating for kids who don’t want to stand out – they simply want to fit in. We work with our families to devise an individualized treatment plan for each child who needs our care.
